I am a Preschool Teacher and we have a Fisher Price Hoop as one of the outdoor toys. The ball it came with always catches the wind and makes it impossible to really aim and shoot well. These Spalding Basketball's are not only the correct size for little hands, but they are EXACTLY like the adult ones. They can dribble, aim and shoot without the wind making any difference. So when they shoot they have a bigger chance of success of getting it in the hoop. They can actually "learn" the skills needed to shoot baskets rather than just random shooting and hoping it goes in.
