I bought these shoes mainly to use for football and it gives good grip. I've never owned cleats or soccer shoes before and these definitely made a difference compared to regualar gym shoes. I ended up buying two of these to get the free super savings shipping and the cost came to about $46 shipped. I just saw these sames shoes at a local Sports Authority and they had it for about $44 so I pretty much got two of these for the price of one! My only complaint is the lack of padding inside the shoes but thats probably because they are soccer shoes and not football shoes..
