MLB Replacement Mini Foam Balls 20 Pack Immediately

The MLB Replacement Mini Foam Balls 20 pack are durable. We are non-standard in our usage of them, though. I'm sure the following behavior would not be recommended by the manufacturer.

Me and my grand kids use them for indoor snowball fights. We throw them at each other, along with paper wads (8 1/2 x 11 wadded up). They are a little harder than I wanted, because if you get too close and throw them too hard they kind of hurt. Not really a lot of hurt, but they make you flinch. The paper wads are the same. But the balls are more aerodynamic than the paper wads and go further without your arm threatening to fall off.

However, usually we are at opposite sides of a room or ends of a hall, and the grand kids are very agile. The little suckers. They are the ones that keep pulling them out and chasing me around the house with them, so I guess they don't hurt too bad. I just toss them at my two year-old grandson and three year-old granddaughter. They usually try to throw four or five at a time. The 'shotgun' method tends to reduce the impact. And the accuracy.

The seven year-old granddaughter and I get into some good battles though. The balls are hard enough to bounce off the walls for bank shots to the side of the door opening. Hah. Thought you could hide, did you? They are soft enough to give a little when they land, and banking drastically reduces the velocity. Darn it.

We got two packages so it keeps us busy chucking and dodging. And the yellow color makes it easier to see them when you have to pick them up from all over the house. Grandma can find them when they land on the kitchen counter behind the toaster or in the dish drainer.

If you like indoor snowball fights with the grand kids in the winter when you're really bored and it's too cold outside, these might be the ticket. They help keep old guys young. But if you're too dumb to use them without hurting each other, I recommend you not buy them. Just stay bored.
